The Tour de France is going to be tough next week. The heat wave returns with 100+ days. The Tour will be in Limoux on Tuesday, July 19th. Can’t wait! Look for me. :) This is a tough year on the stages and with the heat? Pas bon.
My new dream car.
Some day. With my renovated barn.
Tomorrow, Alet-les-Bains!
Alet-les-Bains was once a walled city with its own abbey – and later its own bishop and cathedral. In 1197 the abbey and the town were fortified by ramparts and a moat. Now it is little more than a village of just over 500 people but you can still see vestiges of the city walls and ruined Cathedral. In 813, Alet was the seat of a Benedictine abbey founded by Béra, Viscount of Razés.
The people are so kind here. Thinking today it’s all we have left, really. Kindness. Leaders and politics, capitalists and dark money, profit and greed, systemic patriarchy, all reign in the collective. Here’s what we can do:
And save the planet. 🌏

Dayle in Limoux – Day #5
More trains!
Had my girl with me today; she’s finished with her company meetings. We left Grenoble and tackled the trains and a full day of travel. Stopped in Montpellier for a few hours for champagne, a protest—for unions—hot! Incredible history.
Why does champagne taste so much better in France.
And the protest! A very nice protest. You know, when they used to represent free speech.
Getting smoother. Have to roll with it on the train/bus system. Love it. Beautiful way to travel the villages and cities of France. Trains. What a concept, U.S. Oh wait. Dark money, lobbyists, and the surviving Koch. Pas possible. And there is so much that is possible. Yet, we don’t. Annihilation seems the motivation. The United States disappoints and destroys. The only agenda is power and greed and short-term thinking. Why emulate that? The whole world is watching, right? Please. Stop watching the United States of America. We are the dark energy now.
“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.” -Arundhati Roy:
Leaving the United States…freedom…and possibility. I hear her breathing, too. Just not within the 50.
What I love about traveling is that it’s a living journal. One of my favorite things is a new journal…blank pages…possibilities, learning, awakenings, unfolding and creating. That’s traveling. Starting gate, blank pages, and suddenly, and frequently, the pages are filled with learning, dialogue, sharing, connecting, and angels. So many angels on our path. Traveling? Man is it obvious. We are all angels, waiting to serve and give and love and learn.
Going back to this quote from 2020:
‘Something deep changed this week.
The old world isn’t coming back.
Our choice now is to move forward with compassion, courage, and love for each other. It’s the only way it’s going to work.
Everything is on the table now. It’s time to build something new.’ ♡
-Eric Holthaus
It is. Haven’t even been here a week, and I’m feeling it. It’s time to build something new.
Mainstream Media in the U.S. will report the Ukrainian crisis is ‘not top of mind anymore.’ For who? You? Jaded and corporate ‘journalists?’ You are the gatekeepers. We haven’t forgotten Ukraine. You have.
Слава Україні!

Root chakra color! Muladhara. Strengthening the foundation for the unfolding. And when all else fails?
Train delayed. Missed the connecting bus in Carcassonne to Limoux. Found a way.
There’s always another way. The old world isn’t coming back. Another world is not only possible, she’s on her way.
