Community Introspection
‘Unconditional and constant loving kindness takes courage. Our resolve to make the world a better place through this practice can take us to places of great discomfort. Mother Teresa was once asked how she could serve the sickest and poorest in India. Here often quoted reply should be a guide for us all: “I see the face of the Christ in its most distressing disguises.” In other words, healing and transformation only takes place when we have the courage to see the Divine in what we judge as the most unlikely places for it to be present.’
