Dayle in Limoux – Day #7

July 11, 2022

Alet-les-Bains

Commune in France
In the Upper Valley of the river Aude, you can discover the winding course of the river which gave its name to the department. This is a region of gorges and dizzyingly high narrow passes; it offers a multitude of layers of varying landscapes from the wine-growing hillsides to the Pyrenean peaks. South of the town of Limoux, in the heart of an idyllic valley nestles the former administrative and episcopal capital of the Razès region: ALET LES BAINS. Alet has been a place of spiritual influence for 10 centuries and the ancient city never ceases to surprise those seeking treasures, culture and well-being
And guess who lived there?
Michel de Nostredame, usually Latinised as Nostradamus, was a French astrologer, physician and reputed seer, who is best known for his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 poetic quatrains allegedly predicting future events. [Wikipedia]

The abbots succeeded each other at the head of the abbey until 1318, when Pope Jean XXII established the abbey in the Eveche. The abbey then became St. Mary’s Cathedral and Abbot Bartholomew became the first bishop of the Cathedral.

In the sixteenth century, the Wars of Religions will be right in the abbey of which there will remain only ruins. [aletlesbains.com]

Lunch at the Hostellerie de l’Eveche, under the massive ancient trees with my girl. Eased the early afternoon with exceptional food and carafes of fresh water in the 98 degree French heat [36 celsius].

and so fun. To be back in my beloved Alet-les-Bains with Annie, showing her the history and ruins, the bells of the abbey, walking the medieval streets overtaken and occupied by the Nazis, the once walled city stands in tribute to the ancients and inquisitions that enfolds the village of 500 with energies and mysteries. After walking and exploring for hours, we needed fluids. Lots. Back to l’Eveche for l’eux, French Coca-Cola (our bodies were craving Coke, just like when in India), and Perrier, too. I think I was actually sloshing when we left. It helped. Then back to the main highway to catch our return bus to Limoux, where we bought more l’aux at the local market! :)

We toured the historic hotel, La Belle Aude. It was for sale three years ago, not sure of the status now.

At the hotel there’s an old lemonade factory and thermal baths discovered by the Romans, using the healing waters of the community. So many ideas and marketing possibilities to buy and renovate the structure, for writers-in-residence and Cathar/sacred geometry mystery tours and study. It edges the River Aude under beautiful massive trees and ancient Roman baths.

Touring the abbey with my girl and absorbing the history, the faded blues, reds, and greens of the centuries old frescos. Indelible. As the massive deep bells rang we imagined the religious wars and destruction. Some captures to share from today.

Studying the history, imagining the people and the conflicts as they tried to practice their beliefs and live their lives in peace.

A standing stone as a grave marker in the ancient cemetery. Remarkably old.

Walked some more around the medieval square. J’adore every cobbled street and stone.

Yes, please. :)

Annie’s favorite.

Depleted from the heat and leaning toward the time our bus would return, we headed across the fortified bridge out of the beau village.

And then this evening from the balcony at 22 Maison, la lune approaching fullness as the swallows murmur and the frantic ducks make their demonic noises. (“Are those really ducks?”)

Incredibly inspired, and only gratitude for the beauty, history, and people of France. Thanks be to Gaia and La Lune.

Power Path

Full Moon in Leo is Wednesday, February 16th at 9:56 AM (MST).

Known as the snow moon, this full moon is much about balance between being and doing, between the masculine and the feminine, between being serious and disciplined and light and joyful. It is a good time to soften your focus and to allow more gifts to come into your field and to align yourself with your purpose and value in life. It is a creative and intuitive time where your prayers should be about what you wish to magnetize into your life.

Optimism, gratitude, community and support are all themes around this full moon. Take some time to do some self care and to keep opening your heart to the love and support that is already there for you.

Blessings,
Lena

From author and yogi Sean Corn:

‘This February full moon, the Snow Moon, rising at the peak of our North American winter, symbolizes the challenges we all face when the world seems cold, dark, and stark.

Basking in the chilly illumination of this deep and reflective moon can allow us to confront our internal challenges, eliminate unhealthy physical and emotional habits, and release the resentments, resistance, and limiting beliefs that often keep us stuck in a cycle of self-sabotage. The full Snow moon brings a sense of renewed focus.’

Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch, writes: “You may ask a question, then put this book down. But watch. Listen. The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The storyline of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear—all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen.”
Prayer and meditation are like the two wings of a bird. Both are needed to fly.
Prayer is a natural additive to a meditator’s life. If you don’ use prayer, you can try adding it after your meditation period. You don’t need to be particularly religious to pray. Don Miguel Ruiz, you’ve likely heard about it, the Four Agreements.
As you read the prayer, you can use “I” in the place of “We” if that feels more intimate for you.
***
“Today, Creator of the Universe, we ask that you come to us and share with us a strong communion of love. We know that your real name is Love, that to have a communion with you means to share the same vibration, the same frequency that you are because you are the only thing that exists in the universe.
Help us to love everything you create unconditionally, especially other human beings, especially those who live around us – all our relatives and people whom we try so hard to love. Because when we reject them, we reject ourselves, and when we reject ourselves, we reject you.
Help us to love others just the way they are with no conditions. Help us to accept them the way they are, without judgment, because if we judge them, we find them guilty, we blame them, and we have the need to punish them.
Today, clear our hearts of any emotional poison that we have, free our minds from any judgment so that we can lie in complete peace and complete love.
Today is a very special day. Today we open our hearts to love again so that we can tell each other “I love you,” without fear, and really mean it. Today, we offer ourselves to you. Come to us, use our voices, use our eyes, use our hands, and use our hearts to share ourselves in the communion of love with everyone. Today, Creator, help us to be just like you are. Thank you for everything that we receive this day, especially for the freedom to be who we are. Amen.”

Howl. Go ahead.

Full Moon in Cancer is Monday, January 17 at 4:50PM Mountain Standard Time (MST)

Also known as the Wolf Moon, this full moon suggests a deeply emotional time giving opportunity for some serious emotional clearing of pent up frustrations, past disappointments, regrets, judgments and feelings about what has or has not happened. It is a good time to sort out the difference between your mental thoughts and judgments and the true nature of your emotional center and what it holds.

This year (2022) is an emotionally centered year and we see it anchored in this full moon. Since the theme of January is about values and what is important, this will also be highlighted during the full moon window.

Beware of self-judgment around what you should have paid more attention to or put more energy into. What is past is past. Clear the emotions around it and move on. This is also a good time to receive the higher emotional energies of gratitude, love, awe, beauty and inspiration. Do some self-care during this time that includes some higher-centered possibilities. Since Mercury is now retrograde, this is a time for more being rather than doing and a good time for reflection and study of where your true power comes from. What is important to you? What do you value? What do you love? What do you love to do and where do you love to be? And with whom?

Blessings,
Lena

Marianne Williamson:

Today I choose the light, and turn away from darkness.

I know there is a force within that lures me toward the light, yet there is a competing force within me that would keep me bound to darkness. May the love of God cast out the fear that is lodged inside my consciousness, and deliver me to peace. May the light of love cast out all fear and darkness in my mind.

The full moon in Pisces is Monday, September 20th at 5:54 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

Corn Moon

Despite relationship irritations, dissatisfaction with work and home, or feeling overwhelmed with what is on your plate, this full moon is conducive to taking a positive and proactive attitude towards improving your story.

Don’t allow your energy to be depleted by the mental struggle around your perceived burden of responsibility vs your own desires and needs. Make a conscious decision that creating a better story for yourself will benefit everyone in your life. And then do it.

Take some time to observe from a neutral place where you need to make a change. There is most likely something on your plate that you can easily prune.

This full moon is an excellent time to expand your inspiration of what is possible and to set some good intentions for attracting good luck, good news and good community. Practice optimism and generosity, and trust your intuition to let your emotions lead your intentions.

Full Moon on Sunday

August 19, 2021

Power Path

This is an auspicious time to connect with more inner confidence, clarity, good luck and success. Relationships of all kinds are supported – especially around new adventures, novelty and exploration. It could be an exciting time to launch something new and a good time to receive the support you need from others to move forward with commitment and stability. Be inspired, be creative, be social, be outgoing, reach out, share your wildest dreams and focus on being happy no matter what.

If you are struggling, do some self care with your comfort in mind without going over into self indulgence. It may be a discipline not to dwell on the shift, but this full moon is an opportunity to move beyond what brings your vibration down and launch you into a new sense of self, more connected with your passion and desires. Don’t waste this chance for bringing in more happiness, good fortune, creativity, partnership and success.

POWER PATH

Full moon in Aquarius is Friday, July 23 at 8:36 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

Also known as the “Buck Moon”, this full moon opens opportunities to challenge beliefs, habits, how we view ourselves, how we see others, what we are putting up with, our thoughts, emotions and actions. Don’t be surprised if you are somewhat triggered during this time and needing to deal with something distasteful that comes to the surface. On the other hand, you could be hugely inspired by some inner momentum to do things differently and make exciting changes in your life. Embrace eccentricity and unique individuality in yourself and others and, whatever else happens, stay out of martyrdom, blame and judgment.

There is freedom being explored and if you can be, think, and act a bit unconventionally, you will harness some of the gift of this moon. Just don’t go overboard and say or do something overly impulsive you will regret later. This is a highly creative time where thinking outside the box and coming up with inspiring innovative ideas and solutions and then sharing them with others will have long lasting effects.

And let’s not forget the fun! Laughter, humor and a bit of wild abandon can help lift you out of feeling less than exuberant about life.

Allysha Levino:

RIGHT NOW, those of us who are CHOOSING CONSCIOUSNESS are gathering our tools and training, trusting our intuition, and hoping that humans will make the great evolutionary leap toward a world that works for everyone.

Wherever this roller coaster takes us, we’re all in this together!

So here’s my BIG QUESTION for you today:

→  What are YOU Noticing?

  • Are you sailing through feeling graceful?
  • Are you seeing everything in the old paradigm that doesn’t work anymore?
  • Is your body or mind struggling to make the leap?
  • Are you feeling the tension of the widening gap?

Noticing can help us reach a place of equanimity no matter where we are on the journey… and wherever you are right now is perfect.

Notice. Trust. Breathe.

It is important to consider what we might know about ourselves and how we interact or respond in the ways we do, or what we perceive or believe about our own faith, theology, and identity. As we endeavor to live fully into this notion of belovedness, we must be introspective and self-aware, carefully uncovering and discovering our most authentic selves while staying connected to Spirit, utilizing the resources of prayer and other spiritual practices. This is the basis of how we live out our spirituality.

Father Richard Rohr, Center for Action & Contemplation

Full moon update for Thursday, June 24th from Power Path:

This is an optimistic time, and could be very prosperous if you can move through the challenges of the distractions of drama and ego-driven negative behaviors in yourself and in others that may crop up. Honesty, emotional vulnerability, humility and a good spiritual base are important foundational aspects for success during this time. It can be a very expansive time especially if you can harness the positivity and optimism. It is a good time to reflect on the containers of your life. What is too small, too big, completed etc. We have some good momentum to initiate the creation of some new containers for ourselves for this cycle.

One the one hand you have the excitement and inspiration of a new container and new possibilities for expansion and partnerships. On the other hand, you may have the personal challenges of self doubt and sifting through some of the negative aspects of your personality that may get in the way of truth and clarity of intention. Even though the energy is moving more freely now, there is still some residual tension around restrictions, delays and right timing. Be patient, enjoy the process, love your friends and community, have a little gratitude, be creative.

This can manifest as a difficult moon as aspects of wanting more freedom to move forward meet with limiting influences and hard work.

Resiliency and flexibility are very helpful during this time especially around unexpected changes, events, reversals and decisions. Be careful with being impulsive.

Put some practical thought into any important choices around changing or adjusting anything major in your life. Take this opportunity to tap into your own wisdom as well as to find a new courage for those changes you do want to make.

You may experience an inner tension that brings up any imbalance you feel around time – how you spend it, how you use your energy etc.

Use this full moon time to take an inventory of what you value so you can set intentions and get support around what is most important to you. We are all ready to move on, to go forward and experience more freedom.

And yet we are being pulled back to take yet another look at what needs to change,  to be healed and to be released.

So, be patient, ask what can be healed, and do the work so you can move into the future from a solid and practical foundation and not one built on impulsive behavior. ~Lena

‘What brings us to tears, will lead us to grace. Our pain is never wasted.’ -Bob Goff

It’s hard for us religious people to hear, but the most persistent violence in human history has been “sacralized violence”—violence that we treated as sacred, but which was, in fact, not. Human beings have found a most effective way to legitimate their instinct toward fear and hatred. They imagine that they are fearing and hating on behalf of something holy and noble: God, religion, truth, morality, their children, or love of country. It takes away all guilt, and one can even think of oneself as representing the moral high ground or being responsible and prudent as a result. It never occurs to most people that they are becoming what they fear and hate.

-Richard Rohr

Release the fear. Then, hate dissolves. What remains? Only love. -dayle

More from Fr Richard:

Simplicity of lifestyle and freedom from the competitive power game, which is where it all begins. It is probably the only way out of the cycle of violence.

I am like one, who sees in dream, and when the dream is gone an impression, set there, remains, but nothing else comes to mind again, since my vision almost entirely fails me, but the sweetness, born from it, still distils, inside my heart.

‘Regardless of what time of the month it rises, January’s full moon is often called the Wolf Moon, as people may believe they hear wolves howling more often during this time of the year.

“It was traditionally thought that wolves howled due to hunger, but we now know that wolves use howls to define territory, locate pack members, reinforce social bonds and gather for hunting,” The Old Farmer’s Almanac explains.

The full moon will serve as a great reference point for stargazers trying to find Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.

Sirius will rise around the same time as the moon and will be visible in the same region of the sky, appearing below and off to the right of the Wolf Moon.

In addition to being known as the Dog Star, Sirius is sometimes referred to as the rainbow star because it appears to flicker with different colors as opposed to appearing as a steady white, according to EarthSky.

This colorful flickering is caused by Earth’s atmosphere, and not the actual star changing colors, and can be seen with the unaided eye on a cold, crisp night.’

Christmas landscape with a snowy house in the mountains.

Full Moon in Cancer (also called the “Cold Moon”) is Tuesday, December 29 at 8:28PM MST.

“This is an important moon for honoring change and bringing in a level of inspiration, creativity and excitement. Your needs versus your desires should be examined and your definition of true home explored. There is a sense of adventure and a restlessness in the air. Creative energy needs a focus and freedom needs an expression. Where, how and with whom can you be creative? Where and how can you express your freedom?

This is a good time to create your intentions for 2021 if you have not already done so. And, if there is any lingering debris from 2020 that needs release, this would be a really good time for that completion. Breaking an old habit is greatly supported during this full moon and a commitment for an inner shift of attitude and belief systems can be deeply anchored. You can have a sudden change of heart about an old attachment, making way for the possible healing of an old wound. Use this full moon as an extension of the powerful Solstice to solidify your intentions with that higher vibration of spiritual inspiration and creativity.”

Gemini Moon

November 29, 2020

Full Moon in Gemini with a penumbral lunar eclipse is on Monday, November 30 at 2:29AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).

Use this time to honor change and to focus on what you wish to dream up for yourself for the future. Despite what might be happening around you or in the greater collective, you can take some space to feed your own container with the energies that will better support you. Think of infusing your intentions with inspiration, beauty, determination, optimism, progress and anything that brings your experience of life to a higher level.

Make sure you do whatever you can to stay out of fear as fear will take you down into a very negative place where you can easily lose your direction and land in an uncomfortable fog.

Eclipses always potentiate the full and new moon times and give an extra boost of energy to whatever is happening in your life as well as your personal intentions. So engage in something positive and be disciplined about lending your creative optimism to the future.

We are moving into a very active time where you will need to pay close attention to your personal direction, your truth, your trust and your discipline.

Blessings,
Lena

A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth, and the Moon are imperfectly aligned. When this happens, the Earth blocks some of the Sun’s light from directly reaching the Moon’s surface and covers all or part of the Moon with the outer part of its shadow, also known as the penumbra.

This is the Harvest Moon of the year and it starts the month off with extroverted passion. What are your dreams? What do YOU want to manifest? An inner fire is lighting up your personal desires and prompting you to be more assertive in speaking your mind. Nevertheless, don’t forget to be kind and to seek harmony and balance in your interactions at the same time. Diplomacy goes a long way to establish cooperative alliances and keep relationships in good alignment.

This is a good opportunity to test your ability to compromise without giving up something personally important. Take action towards a meaningful intention or project even if it is a baby step. Inaction will only cause frustration and physical irritation. If the energy feels too intense, remember to move your body to discharge it. Balance your time between personal alone time and being with others. It is also important not to procrastinate with regard to the priorities on your list. Getting things done and making progress will give you confidence and satisfaction.

A harvest moon supports being in gratitude and sending blessings for all the things we are truly grateful for in our lives.

October 2020 Monthly Forecast

October Forecast from Power Path

The main theme for October  is “Keep Going… No Matter What”

One of the big issues this month is the processing of grief and loss. Anything can trigger this, and if you do get triggered through something you feel is insignificant, see it as the trigger that ripped the scab off the wound so you can finally clean and heal this deeper wound for good. This could involve ancestral patterns, past lives, your personal past as well as the collective collection of karmic trauma, misery, injustice, and deep wounding of both the masculine and the feminine. We need to remember in these times of intensity, that spirit never hands us more than we can handle.

If we can “keep going, no matter what”, we will be that much stronger in our own truth and resolution, courage and conviction. We will be able to hold our ground, speak up for our rights, whether at work, home or socially, and be more confident in who we are, what we want, and what we will and won’t do.

This is truly an interesting, challenging, and transformative time where we as a collective will continue to dismantle the old structures of injustice, inequality, limitation, debt, dishonesty and competition, making room for something balanced and better to emerge in the future. This is happening on all levels: physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally.

CNN

As if 2020 isn’t weird enough, it’s a year with 13 full moons rather than 12 — and two of these will occur this month.

The second full moon of the month will be the Blue Moon which will shine in the sky on Halloween. The last time a full moon happened on Oct. 31 in all U.S. time zones was 1944.

October’s first full moon is the harvest moon on October 1, and the second full moon will occur on October 31. That’s right: a full moon on Halloween.

Full Moon in Leo

February 7, 2020

Sunday, February 9 at 12:33 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).

‘This moon is good for grounding, generosity, courage and the support needed to show up in your life in a bigger way. We are all striving for more; becoming more powerful, wise, accomplished, conscious, successful, satisfied, happy and fulfilled. Allow this full moon to feed your self-confidence so you can be all those things.

Forgive all the times you have been hard on yourself for the illusion of “not doing it right”.

Take in as much sunlight as possible and honor the masculine in yourself, the quality of taking action, and the ability to manage your energy in a productive way.

In this surge of energy, you may experience things feeling a bit out of control and it may be easy to get irritated and impatient especially around a process you have no control over, such as traffic or weather or other peoples issues. Stick to your own sense of management, stay in your own lane, and don’t get caught up in any drama that is taking place “out there” or with others. Your best service is being a grounded focused example of stability in the midst of turmoil and chaos.’ -Power Path

Power Path

We have been in this window between two eclipses since the New Moon on the 5th putting the screws on to our self reflection of what we need to do, where we need to go, what we need to change, what to keep, what to release, who we are, and who we are not. Once this Eclipse window is over, we get to come up for some air and reshuffle our lives based on emerging decisions, choices and intentions.
Despite the intensity, it is crucial that you focus on your personal truth regarding your intentions, dreams and desires. Don’t get derailed by drama that is not yours and make sure to be around people and in places that you love and feel inspired by. Any prayers during this time will be greatly supported so be generous with them.  What do you have a passion for? Embrace it and put forth your desire to explore it in the adventure that is your life. Include a little gratitude as well for all that you do have and all that is going well.
It is also a good time to focus prayers on how you wish to experience your world. Without judgment, blame or attachment to how it should look (in your opinion), imagine how it would feel everyday if you woke up feeling the inspiration, beauty and joy of a cooperative, compassionate and loving planet.  Put that prayer into your heart and project it like an arrow into the world. There are a lot of things in this world you cannot control, but your prayers are something you can. So pray your very best during this intense and powerful time, not only for yourself but for all your relations.
This is a good time for change, commitment, putting yourself first, expanding your growth, pushing beyond your comfort zone, thinking outside the box and dreaming big. Lets set some good intentions and do it!
[‘The full moon comes with a total Lunar Eclipse visible in much of North and South America and in parts of Europe, Middle East and Africa. Whenever you have this combination, the intensity increases, people could be reactionary, overly impulsive and emotional highs and lows are exaggerated.’]

Full Moon & Winter Solstice

December 20, 2018

Solstice is Friday, December 21 at 3:22pm Mountain Standard Time

☆☆☆

Full Moon is Saturday, December 22 at 10:48am Mountain Standard Time.

[POWER PATH]

Solstices are always about a powerful s gift from the old into something new. This one is no exception. They are important times to release the past and to gain some clarity and set some intentions for the future.

“As we are moving into a time where the element of earth is prevalent, this solstice offers an opportunity for grounding and anchoring this intentions with the help of Pacha Mama. On the other hand, the grounded quality can also bring up places of resistance, stubbornness and where you are still holding on to something past. Watch bones, teeth and joints during this time.

In addition to our usual recommendation to do some kind of ceremony or ritual, we also recommend the you make some kind of a change in your physical environment to honor the change of season and the power of the solstice. Get rid of something, move some furniture, bring in something new that better represents who you are. The solstice is also a time of renewal. What needs to be freshened up in your life?

For a ritual or ceremony, you can write down what you wish to release, burn or bury the writing, and then focus on your new intentions, writing down what is clear to you at this time.

As we are moving into a year of chaos fighting structure, how you use this time of the solstice (and the full moon on Saturday) will help you to get your ducks in a row in anticipation of the times.

The Solstice this year is followed closely by a Full Moon that honors the other influence of 2019, water. Water represents the emotions, fluidity, flexibility, and is a powerful agent of change. Earth and water will be working together in 2019 either harmoniously bringing fertility and balance into your life, or forcefully, creating change at inconvenient times. Use this Full Moon time in conjunction with the Solstice to check in with your intuition and emotional self to see the truth of what you need to let go of and the truth about what you truly wish to bring in to your life. It is a time where being around others of like mind and heart is helpful. As addictions will be a challenge in 2019, our sincere hope and wish for everyone is for a collective release of the addiction to suffering.

Another good way to use this Full Moon/Solstice time is to contemplate all the structures in your life, all the containers you have created to support you. Are they still in resonance with you? Or do they need some adjustment in order to give you some room to change? Don’t be afraid of a little chaos as you are moving things around both physically and emotionally. Do it in bits and pieces one step at a time and as long as you keep things moving, you will be fine.”

On Friday, July 27, the full moon will pass through the shadow of the Earth for 103 minutes. It will be the longest “blood moon” lunar eclipse of the century, as the moon turns red in the shadow of the Earth for nearly two hours.

This is a rather intense full moon, (some of you have been feeling it for days already), that creates a window to speak your truth, embrace your personal power, and step up to a new level of integrity, maturity and confidence It is a perfect time for a bid for Power. What do you really and truly want that you either feel you don’t deserve, you don’t have the skills or time to create, or you simply don’t believe it could happen? Face your doubts, fears and anxieties, and ask for help and support for your bigger dreams.

This is a great time for transformation, expansion and clearing of some very deep old emotional insecurities and wounding. It is a good sign if you feel slightly unbalanced, emotional and vulnerable. Great healing is possible and forgiveness is a key.
It is a good time also to revisit the details of your physical environment and to put some energy into what will support you better. Take a look with fresh eyes at what you have been putting up with and make some decisions to improve your surroundings. Be proactive with this time and beware of falling into judgment, negativity, lethargy and despair. If it happens, focus on something that inspires you, that makes you happy and feel good.

A year of service.

December 29, 2017

Full Moon is Monday, January 1st

Spend some good intentional time and using your emotions, intuition and imagination, set your dreams and desires for the coming year if you have not already done so. If you have, then spend a bit of time either expanding your imagination of what is possible or trying those dreams on energetically.

This is also a very good time to set specific intentions of how you wish and need to serve yourself in the coming weeks and months. This is a year of service and service needs to start with you personally. If you can’t serve yourself, you cannot be of support and service to others. This is a nurturing moon that will inspire you to clean your nest, do your laundry, and focus on how to make your home environment more supportive to you this year. Remember it does not all have to get done today, but you can still set concrete intentions of what you wish to see happen in the coming year.

This full moon has the potential for creating crisis that can assist in breaking through from stagnation, calcification and stubbornness where anger and irritation play a big role, to a softer, emotional and vulnerable experience where creativity rules and imagination is fertilized with gratitude, love and awe.

Accept and acknowledge the structures that have served you so well up till now. And then, make a commitment to do it differently, allowing for change. In honor of the theme of turning the soil, it would be appropriate if you actually did that either physically in a garden or psychologically by recapitulating your past and revisiting some of the more significant events of your life. Be flexible and allow some things to break off and others to surface.

‘Big energy.’

April 9, 2017

Power Path

A full moon intensifies everything and this is especially true this month. It is up to you what gets intensified. Don’t indulge in the negative. Be proactive with your intentions and get fired up about something that inspires you. This is big energy we are dealing with these days. Mark this time of the full moon with some big intentions that you can start following up on with a grounded action plan.

Since it is just after midnight, tomorrow, April 10th, Monday is a good day to begin honoring and celebrating this moon.
The anchor of this time needs to be time out in nature, honoring both the higher emotional center with its beauty and inspiration, and the instinctive center with its link to vitality and raw energy.
